About ASM

A ministry of Oxford Assembly of God, Amplify Student Ministries is a ministry to students (grades 6-12) and their families, and ministry by students. Our mission is to Win students by showing the love of Christ; to Build students by teaching the Word; and to Send students by answering the call of the Great Commission.

Amplify Student Ministries reaches out to students between 6th and 12th grades here in Oxford/Wildwood and beyond. It impacts the local Middle and High Schools and the surrounding neighborhoods to help them grow in the Word and help guide them into becoming a powerhouse for Jesus Christ. From Youth Rallies to Rise Conference, bonfires to Camps, there are many events to keep your spiritual growth alive and pumped for Jesus!

The Bridge is a ministry for incoming 6th graders. There is sometimes a bit of culture shock when students transition from the Children's Ministry to the Youth Ministry. The Bridge is just as the name implies, a bridge for those students to help ease them--and their parents--into the youth ministry culture. Pastor Amanda will also be taking The Bridge students through the book Surviving Middle School, a practical and fun way to learn how to survive the coming year in Middle School.

The Bridge will be held on Thursdays at 6pm via the Zoom video conferencing app. It kicks-off in the summer (Thursday, June 11) and continues...well...until it's done. Generally, that's around the time that school starts back, but sometimes it goes on a while after that if it is needed.

Amplify Middle is a ministry for Middle School Students (6th-8th grades--we allow 9th graders to come as well if they prefer the middle school ministry style better). It is held on Fridays from 6-8pm. The first hour (6-7pm), is free time, with an open gym for basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, or whatever they want to play, and the Youth Lounge is open for students to relax, hang out, and purchase cheap snack items from the cafe. The second hour (7-8pm) features a worship set, games, and a Bible Study just for middle schoolers.

Amplify High is a ministry for High School Students (9th-12th grades). It is held on Sundays from 6-8pm. The first 30 minutes (6-6:30pm), is free time, with an open gym for basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, or whatever they want to play, and the Youth Lounge is open for students to relax, hang out, and purchase cheap snack items from the cafe. Then the last part (6:30-8pm) features a deep worship set, games, and a Bible Study just for High Schoolers.

Club 612 is an open gym night for all middle and high school students (6th-12th grades), held on the first Friday of the month from 6-8pm. The gym is open for whatever games the students would like to play, and the Youth Lounge is open for students to relax, hang out, and purchase cheap snack items. Right in the middle (usually around 7:30), we gather the students together for a brief devotion and a free snack. This is a great way for students who are unfamiliar with church and our beliefs to come for a low-key evening of fun and games.

The Sunday following our monthly Club 612 is Amplify United, for all middle and high school students (6th-12th grades) which will be a fun night of worship and God's Word, a full-on Youth Service for all middle and high school students so they can get to know one another.
